Transforming Assessment Praxis (TAP) is a scheduled nine-week online programme, aimed at modifying existing resources to better meet the needs of learners, and exploring diverse and valid ways of collecting evidence. It requires a time commitment of approximately 90 minutes each week. The intention of this programme is to effect a change of assessment practice.

The programme is designed to use the self-reflection and discussion of participants as an important catalyst for change. The programme features online meetings, videos and professional readings, and encourages feedback from colleagues via formal and informal collaboration. The content is geared towards practical, research-based, tried-and-tested strategies, ideas, and resources. The length/format of this programme allows for participants to learn and then trial assessment strategies that they can easily implement.
